A Message from Our Founder
No young woman should be left behind.
Founder's Message
More than sixteen years ago, I established Beit Naomi out of a simple, unwavering belief: no young woman should ever be written off.
The privilege of founding Beit Naomi grew from decades of public service. For more than twenty years, I had the honor of serving alongside HaRav Ovadiah Yosef ZT"L — and it was he who encouraged, guided, and inspired me to create a framework that would offer a home, protection, and a future to young women facing crisis. Beit Naomi was built in his spirit and with his blessing, born from the conviction that every young woman deserves a genuine opportunity to rebuild her life.
Over the years, we have accompanied hundreds of young women through hardship, crisis, and deep loneliness. We have witnessed, time and again, how love, trust, professional support, and a caring environment can transform lives and open the door to a new future.
Beit Naomi is far more than an apartment or a therapeutic framework. It is a warm home — a place where young women can pause, recover, acquire the tools they need for life, and rebuild their faith in themselves and their ability to create a brighter tomorrow.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who walks this path with us: our devoted staff, our volunteers, our donors, and all who choose to be part of this vital work. Because of you, we can continue to offer young women a real opportunity to grow, to move forward, and to build lives of stability, meaning, and hope.
Behind every young woman who succeeds in rebuilding her life stand people who chose to believe in her — at the very moment it was hardest for her to believe in herself.
With gratitude and blessing,
Yair Nahari
